Prodigy Poster Analysis

Poster Advertising 'Invaders Must Die' Tour

The Prodigy have kept the 'Invaders Must Die' franchise uniform by repeating the font and colour scheme, this is very effective as the audience will be able to instantly be able to relate the video to the single cover to the poster. This particular poster is a tour poster and so it contains dates and venues, and The Prodigy have kept the font consistent throughout all of their merchandise and therefore acts as a trademark for this particular band, making it instantly recognisable. The grey and black background also emphasises the bright and vibrant font, making it stand out to the market, and making it unmissable. The image of the speaker tower shows gives the impression to the audience of loud, important music that is unmissable. This image is an effective way of making the poster seem unique and gives the poster an edgy, unconventional feel as it is not an image that is widely used, especially in black and white, with a 'grainy' texture. The band are not shown on any of their merchandise, which could show that image is not important to them, and that the music is their main focus.
